Boozy Banana Ice Cream

Boozy banana icecream

Looking for a healthy alternative to ice cream? When blended, frozen bananas provide the perfect creamy consistency and ice cream texture, without all the extra calories. This simple recipe can easily be customized to suit your taste - we love using our Button Up Bourbon fudge sauce because it gives a warm bourbon-y bite, mixed with the cool frozen treat.

Ingredients:
  • 2 frozen, peeled bananas
  • 2 large dollops of Snow Owl Confectioner's Button Up Bourbon chocolate fudge sauce (straight from the jar, no heating necessary)
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate almond milk (if you like your ice cream thicker, use less almond milk)
Making Boozy Banana Ice Cream:

Peel the bananas (ripe, but not fully brown) and cut them into 2-inch chunks. Place the banana pieces in a freezer bag or container and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight. Once the bananas are frozen, add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Yum!
